    Hello friends,

First apoligies if I didn't share my post in the right Help category....

I'm in need of your assistance. As the title says, yesterday I did a Windows 11 Prompt update and after I did the update I didn't notice anything wrong because I was using my computer normally. Today, Sunday October 1st, I I open my computer I noticed that the Mouse was lagging...
Then I noticed that my 1 Terrabyte SSD only had almost 1 gig left. I found that very odd and weird.

So went on did everything by deleting Unused windows files etc... the everyday windows junk etc.. but I noticed that everytime I was gaining ROOM/Space in my C drive, few minutes after, lets say If I had 22 Gigs... well 5 minutes after it went down 21.5 etc... etc... and as much as I keep cleanining up and gaining space as it keeps feeling up.

I went on a Disbled lost of Windows automatic updates stuff and still nothing. I went to System/Storage, clean everything and still

    I'm running Windows 11 Pro
    Version: 22H2
    Os Build: 22622.590
    Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22634.1000.0

Please any help is welcome as I just want to find out what is the Issue of C drive HDD filling up by minutes.

I'm now doing a Windows Scan for potential Viruses.

    Thank you for any help.

    Appreciate

Greetings and welcome to the Major Geeks Malware Forum.

We can certainly take a look at things. Please do this.

    ===================================================

    Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST)

    --------------------
    • Right click on Farbar Recover Scan Tool for 64 bit systems select Save Link As..., and save the file onto your Desktop
    • Right click on the icon and select Run as administrator
    • Note: If you receive any warning about the download it is a false positive and you can ignore it. Click on More info to get the Run anyway option
    • Click Yes to the disclaimer
    • Click Scan and allow the program to run
    • Click OK on the Scan complete screen, then OK on the Addition.txt pop up screen
    • 2 Notepad documents should now be open on your desktop.
    • Please attach both reports to your reply

    Hello Gary,

Thanks for jumping it and land your help.
Please find attached the two files you requested from the Farbar Scan Tool

For your information, if this might help, I mostly run my computer for music production purposes only.. And I navigate through the web to download either udpates of my plugins or software etc... Thats all

Thank you in advance for your help.

Unfortunately there appears to be a variety of software on your system requiring proper activation which are "activated" by other means. In order for me to assist you all software requiring proper activation for which you do not have product keys must be completely removed. In other words all pirated software would have to be uninstalled. If you are unwilling to do that, and I suspect doing so would be too disruptive, I will not be able to assist.

Having said that, there are quite a number of entries that look suspicious to me but without further investigation I am unable to determine if they are malicious or legitimate.

Let me know what you would like to do.

It would be easier if you identified programs you know are pirated/cracked and remove them. There would be less for me to have to sort through. My sense is there are a lot of programs that will need to be removed.
