Help, can't send email!

For some reason I can no longer send email. I use OE 6 and XP sp-2. Nothing has changed in my settings but all of a sudden they won't send. I can receive just fine from several different accounts, but can't send. below is the type of error message I get.

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'name@yahoo.com'. Subject 'Re: Re:', Account: 'Floyd and Karen at WB', Server: 'mail.mwwb.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=71.41.31.14', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I've tried Thunderbird and get the same errors.

It's driving me crazy. Any ideas?

The fact that Spamhaus is mentioned in the response makes me wonder straight away if the email program had been hijacked and was sending spam. I strongly suggest checking out your computer for nasties.

 

download avg anti virus and the anti spam freeware versions from grisoft and do a full system sweep, I agree with chookers it looks like you have some nasties hijacking your mail system
