help capture streaming audio?

    Being new at this stuff, I'm trying to find a way to save live webcast for future listening. The way I do it now is to record from the audio output, kinda dates me {)I'm sure there is a better way I am using winXP. The old man thanks you..

    Get winamp, and set the Output plugin to be Diskwriter. That should write the broadcast in real time.. if it lets you. Worth a try
