help comp has gone incredible slow

help i dont know where to post this but i need help with my comp. i checkd if i had any viruses or trojans and none. i need something that will speed up my comp because its getting to the point where im gonna drop it off the top of my house. anyone have any suggestions on how to speed it up

well i keep getting a pop up that askes me if i wanna dl this game from xigames and i have no idea where its come from and iv tried so many pop up programs and it wont get rid of it. ummi need something that will clean my computer with out loosing the programs on it. thx

i got tds-3 adaware i think its 6.1
and popupdummy rate now for my popups
but its gay and it keeps letting this threw i ran tds3 and it came up with 2 positive identifications but i got rid of those but it didnet seem to work. and sometimes i get about a million internet windows just appear when im on this site for some reason and my comp crashes.. any ideas?

yo thx alot man fixed alot of shit and i had a ****in worm i had an idea but wasnet tottaly sure system runs great now... if u have any other suggestions to keep my comp tip top shape just let me know

i use adware as well as spybot because what the one misses the other will find. i also use hijackthis just to see if all is clear, nothing nasty lurking about. i also dump all the internet cookies and all the temp folders and i find this helps me quiet a bit. you can get these all from m/geeks.

W98 Keep it clear of Gunk

In addition to all good advice given and even after your have got rid of all the nasties you should routinely keep W98OS clean - tmp files old cookies GID's temporary Internet files - the list is endless. There are plenty of freebies available to do that plus a few that cost very little and if you regularly clear out the gunk you will have no probs. Have been operating W98Se and before that W95B for many years now and can't remember what a blue screen of death looks like.
