You first image says Ok. Have you run chkdsk /r from an elevated command prompt? Are you just wondering or do you suspect something?

80GB is not a big drive. How old is it?

    Thanks! No i didn't run chkdsk /r.
(i assume you mean start, run, cmd, right click "run as admin" etc.etc.
Do you suggest that's necessary in addition to HDtune?
    OK, i'll run it now.

    It's a year 2009 - R61 Lenovo thinkpad. Yes it's old.

P.S. Here is what i tried in Win-7. It's not operating as a straightforward CHKDSK the way it's been with Win-XP.
...I tried following the instructions by Bruce Chambers (see below) found via search-engine search.

    OK, thanks! :D
    Topic closed / solved.

Now if only abracadabra could rid me of the outgassing chemicals on this thing which are zapping my sinuses/lungs/eyes/headaches. Do you know that years ago, an Ebay seller went ballistic on me when i told him i smeared essential oils on an HDTV he sold me, trying to get rid of the toxic chemical smell pervading the room. The result was the TV smelled like it was smoking, so i wound up trashing it, to the tune of $300 loss. These depressing monetary losses were a recurring theme in my life due to my sensitivities, and because (unlike cigarette smoke) MCS & EMF have barely been acknowledge by the public, which is why it's not among sellers' criteria's.
