Help decrypting my own archives

I apologize if this is against forum rules, but I'm trying to access my OWN password protected files.

1. RAR archive with several self portraits (nothing illegal or dirty of course). The password is made from multiple words with numbers, letters and symbols. Brute force and dictionary are out of the question.

I used to have a free app that could decrypt a RAR quickly using a file that was known to be in the archive, which I think I have. Can anyone point me to something like this?

2. An older zip file with some of my old computer code. I'd like to use this in a portfolio. Equally tough password but much faster to brute force and I think there was a vulnerability in earlier zip versions that could be exploited?

Thanks, but I don't think brute force is an option. My passwords are usually at least 16 characters

 

I don't have access to a GPU that has enough cores to brute force like that anyway...

Well I got my zip file open. It was an old password that I'd forgotten I'd ever used, but it was WinZip 8 or earlier so the "guaranteed zip" method worked! I wonder why I'd bother encrypting MAME and Callus ROM save states...

The RAR archive isn't looking so promising. I know exactly what's in the archive, but I don't have a copy of any of the files with the exception of MAYBE one of them. I've tried undeleting with all of my tools and even fishing through my windows cache and temp folders. No joy.

I think I'm down to known plaintext on this RAR with the file that I do have, but I can't find a tool that will do that with RAR archives, only Zip and ARJ. Help? Thanks.
