Upon booting my computer, I get the error in a box titled "Windows - Drive Not Ready". The error says, "Exception Processing Message c00000a3 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c".

The error seems to be more of a nuisance as nothing seems to be wrong with the system and running the software seems fine.

I am running a P4 at 2.54 GHz. with 1.5 GB of RAM. The OS is XP SP 3.

PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance. :)

Oh, forgot to mention that I have run SUPER Antispyware and Avira Avir and am being told I am now spyware and virus free, although Avir did detect several virus' which it removed.

Have you bumped or moved the computer? Have you checked the connections?

All connections seem fine. The error started after performing a system reinstall from backup. The restoration worked without errors and everything is running well except for this one boot up error.

And you have no discs or floppies in the drives?

I've tried it both ways, with and without and it makes no difference.

Just for the halibut...go into your bios and turn off the floppy drive.

Okay, will do. I'll post back in a few.

Also remove any USB devices....you may be able to turn off the floppy in device manager.

Holy cow, you're a genus! I disabled the floppy from the BIOS and no more error. I guess I have floppy on the unit -- not that anyone really uses them anymore anyway.

    Thanks a million!

There is the possibility it will re-enable. If it does, disable in bios and remove the cable from the drive.

    :)
