help foil santa

Hi guys,
I only normally just lurk around here for tips and gunk when I mess up murphy. But murphy is fine and I am in a bit of a pickle. I am writing the follow up to a chapter book Iam writing for kids concerning the naughty kids at christmas. Without going into great detail the main nasty character, Constance, is trying to kidnap Santa and has black mailed a geeklette to help her by "jamming" Santa's ability to see and hear everything. Oddly enough the geeklette in the story consults his own juniorgeek forum for advice as well. How do you like that for life following fiction... so on with the questions

1. how does santa see and hear everything?
2. how would one go about shutting all that down or at least disturbing it enough so an evil constance can plot to kidnap Santa?

Help would be wonderful and greatly appreciated!
i could name a character after you...or a dedication in the book...ooo your name in text...lol

Any way I really am in a spot and would love the help.

Not quite a "jamming" scenerio ... but how about having a webcam track his whereabouts so he can be "kidnapped" - I had a bit of fun with this in 2005 with my Santa Tracker - ho, ho, ho! ;-)

 

well being geek challenged i rather like the idea of the soft ware issue and could be easy to write in.. and i could incorporate the web cam scenario but it would have to be a more personal cam and how in the world do i get it on santa...lol

 

He can use his special "santaware" software..everyone knows Santa has special software

 

NORAD "tracks" Santa ... and in my case, I just "watched" for him to show up on my roof ... so you could use the 2nd scenerio to notice when he shows up and then 'trap' him ... although keep in mind that Santa is a "good" guy ... so if you hurt him, I might send my Big Green Buddy after you ... ;-)

I dont know if you'v heard of it but theres a program called echelon which is run by USA/UK it can record phonecalls,emails ect.ect it can pick out keywords such as terr1ist,assa1nate ect ect you could say that echelon is actually run by santa to listen in on bad kids through every electrical device 'with a little peotic license'

There was an effort to bring down echelon by the geek community a few years by overloading the system with lots of in lots of suspect words,the main charater could do something similar by using lots of message that kids have been bad ect ect whcih would overwhelm santa listening systems,this could come in the form of a virus that takes control of computers around the world

rest assurd Santa is only bait, and the good guys will win this one... they always do.

 

I always thought the Christmas elves had elves and knomes everywhere, watching all the kids. The bush goblins are their natural enimy though.

Actually, I make bush goblins for Halloween, a pair of red LEDs connected to a slow timer so they turn off and on very slow, mostly off. Put about 30 in the bushes next to my door and more candy for me!

 

ECHELON.

Bad news for those of you JUST hearing about Echelon.
It was started during World War Two.

It is used for many purposes, right now to fight terrorism.
Echelon is very OLD news.

Now for the Really bad news, the # of people Blacklisted for saying or doing something DEEMED wrong is astronomical.
A Great number of Good people are on its list.
