actually i am doing my final Btech project to develop a chat application using gprs by using j2me.
actually am in deep trouble as don't know much about the language.
so please show me the way to proceed!!!!

Some reference books is probably a good start... if you are familiar with programming theory and normal java syntax.

am ok with the syntax ffor java..
the problem is i cannot find a good FREE ide for j2me...
and also cannot find a book which is suitable for my application,.
does any one know which API's exactly to use....
i have a client-server architechture,so will the WMA api's work for me?
