help for scanner

I have purchased a new motherboard and it dosnt have a parallel port so I have got a usb to parallel cable but my cannon fb 630p dosnt work with it, it has the xp bell when i plug it in or unplug it but dosnt come up with the add hardware. Have trie to install it in device manager with no success. I think I may need driver and software to run it but have been unable to download it can sombody help me, I know its an old unit but still works

 

Thanks for that but it dosnt resolve the issue of it now being usb and not parallel, already downloaded that, my motherboard is asus m3n-h/hdmi i am wondering if i need new usb drivers, i tried a driver for the fb 630u, u is for usb and p is for parallel
