Help guys ..............video card trouble.

And here in lies our problem, sounds as if you have illegally obtained a game in which we cannot offer assistance in solving your problem.


but IIRC the VIA S3G Unichrome IGP ( onboard mobile GFX ) doesnt have Transform&Light support ( T&L ) so wont run Halo.. I could be wrong tho.

 

Is the PC a laptop? if so dont think you'd be able to fit a new GFX card anyhow ( some high end Laptops maybe )

a little more reading, is your CPU 2ghz or above? ( as that could allow a non T&L card to run the game, albiet slow )

Drivers will not fix a hardware function that is missing.

BUT as the game is an illegal download, I think this is about as much help as we could give and as the Via IGP GFX will not support T&L its academic so I will close this thread.

I will suggest this tho be very carefull of what you get off p2p as not all that glitters is gold and you will find yourself asking for help in the Spyware forum in removing god knows what malware!
