HELP! How do I restore hijacked Windows Media Player 9.0?

When I downloaded the software for Best Buy's music download service called Music Now,apparently a script or something was imbedded into the downloaded program ,because whenever I open Media Player 9.0,it opens at the Best Buy homepage.Even when I specify that it should open in the media guide mode,which shold be windowsmedia.com ,it still opens at Best Buy's website.

I've tried everything I know to open Media Guide but to no avail. I'm afraid I will have to go into the registry or something like that to re-word the command lines for the Media Player 9.0 program, but I don't know how to do this,

Could someone out there tell me what I need to do?

 

simple. uninstall it and download an untainted copy from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.aspx

lesson learned: don't download anything unless it's from a good download source or the original source.
