help! huge problem!!

I was running windows updates and had to restart my comp...

well lately its been making a wierd clicking noise similar to someone clicking a mouse extremely hard...(the hard drive was making the sound)

well after installing the updates my comp started making the noise and wouldn't boot....it would stick on the dell logo...

well, after a few mins it tried to start and now all it says is "incorrect disk in a" blah blah...something about a boot disk...

well I don't have one...nor do I know how to get / make one.

(on my laptop btw)

plz, any help would be much appreciated!

 

that comp is windows XP just incase it makes a difference...

 

It sounds like your HD has bit the dust.
