Help! I can't sign in on ebay,windows problem?

Can anyone guied me? I can only get to the front pages on ebay. I sell baby quilts there and cannot sign in to get to paypal or into my smmary on ebay to work. Aol, earthlink, Tech suppport for both ebay help, None have been able to solve the problem. Since it happens on earthlink and aol I'm supposing its a problem in my computer. I have ad aware and spybot. I don't beleive I have a virus. It's does this about every two months. My daughter has wiped the hard drive and started from scratch 3 times. Should I get a new windows xp cd and re install it? Can someone please help!?

In IE, go to Tools--> Internet Options. On the Security and Privacy tabs, click the button that says Default.

Just a guess.

Hopefully your hosts file has not been changed and your not being re-directed to a scam site. Heres some info on hosts files:

Just make sure ebay.com isnt listed in there. Since you do a lot of Ebaying, you may have accidentally clicked on a link in an email that was not an email link, known as phishing, that allows people to get your password.
