I made a HUGE mistake after my PC wouldn't boot. I put in my recovery CD's and without reading the details I guess I re-loaded XP which wiped out everything on my hard drive....EVERYTHING IS GONE!! stupid I know....
BUT I'm hoping that PC Inspector File Recovery will help me recover some of my data. My issue is this: I ran the program, and after 2 hours, it found 70 THOUSAND+ "clusters"?? Not sure how to get these "clusters" back to working files. I went to edit>select all>save>my documents but once it started saving these 70,000+ clusters, the estimated time to complete was over 100,000 minutes??? anyone know how to use this program, OR can anyone suggest one to use? Any suggestions?? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!!

    Sorry:
If the files on the data carrier are highly fragmented (fragmented means that the file is divided into sections that are distributed across the data carrier), this can lead to such problems. In such cases, it is often only possible to recover the data "by hand". If you are affected, you should contact "CONVAR - The Recovery Team" without delay.

I have started the "demo" of Recover my Files v3.97 and not sure exactly what it has found. I have been able to preview a couple documents that look to be complete but it is still working(5hours so far). I did notice an "event log" area and will paste the contents below. Does this information mean anything to you?? Does it indicate good news/bad news or ??? Also can you specify the website for Convar?? do you know average cost of there service(one 250 gb harddrive non commercial).
