I attempted to install a 2.0 ISB port using a PC...card but it wouldn't work even tho I installed the driver for it. Then I tried another brand, and it started working then quit and as I tried various things to correct the problem I accidently removed the driver(s) associated with this program. Now I don't know how to get the drivers back. I am using XP with my laptop and it does not automatically install the driver. I thought I could use the XP CD but it didn't help. Anyone have any ideas?

You should be able to go to the manufacturer's website and download the drivers that are necessary. Have you tried deleting the problem device in Device Manager and rebooting. What service pack level are you at?
