Help I need an antivirus

Ive been told AVG was good in the past now Avast is good.

I just want to be protected??

Hey robboni, I agree with kennie, I use Avast on my main computers, but my others have Microsoft Security Essentials.If you have Windows 8, Windows Defender which is a version of MSE is already install by default. I prefer Avast but MSE is also a very complete antivirus software.

I give another vote for Avast anti virus its really good but I am currently using one that is being offered through my internet provider.

rabboni, moral to the story is, all of these are excellent suggestions and programs. It's always better to have a layer of security, antivirus, anti-malware, anti-spyware. The choice is yours, choose your security to be vigilant and to fit your needs.
