Help!!!!! I need to know the correct or most efficient way to con figur my ide device

    I have one Toshiba Dvd rom, 2 Bebq Dvdrw, 1 western digital hard drive, 1 maxtor hard drive,1 i/o flex dual ide controller card pci ultra dma/100, amd mother board and processor only 950 mhz help

    did you just get this drive .how old is the computer a old bios ...if it a new over 60 gig drive you might have to put a layer on the new drive your bios might not support its a layer for your bios
