HELP! I reinstalled windows & now have no sound?

I have windows xp home edition pc

and the motherboard is = MSI MS-6382E v2.0 (Medion OEM)

I`ve got everest if you need any more info

That motherboard doesnt list at MSI but then many OEM boards dont sadly as they are custom builds for the OEM like Medion, so what is the Model version of Medion PC, hopefully their is a sticker on the PC somewhere or you have the manuals (looking on some info its an old PC, possibly 2004+)?

Yes you could attach an Everest log as we maybe able to get the drivers needed from other sources, please follow the below.

Run Everest and
Click Report (top menu) > Report Wizard > Next
Choose System Summary Only > Next
Choose Plain Text > Finish and wait for report to generate
Click Save to File and leave the File Name as Report, then click the Save as Type dropdown and choose Report files (*txt) and click Save (n.b. Save to desktop is best as easy place to find it, use Browse to locate desktop)

Then attach your log to your next post as per these instructions HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

What version or more so Service Pack is your XP Home Premium install? need this info as an extra driver maybe needed in the UAA HD Audio driver.
