Help Identifying missing file vhartcsy.dll

    I had to reinstall my Windows OS and now I get an error saying vhartcsy.dll is missing when I start up, but it doesn't seem to be affecting my pc. Is this file even needed? How do I stop getting the warning message? Thanks!

    Did you do a reformat and install or just a repair install ....I ask because a repair install will not rid you of malware (which I think this is) ....so you may wish to visit the malware section.

    I have searched everywhere I can think of and find no reference to a "vhartcsy.dll" anywhere. It certainly isn't part of any MS OS.
    I think TimW is correct about this being malware.

    I just ran the repair, do you think I can fix it w/out having to completely reformat? I did a search of this site and there were no ref's to that file name.
