Help Identifying Sound Card

So Win 7 apparently can't find the drivers for this sound card apparently which is odd as hell since Winxp 64 COULD. I forgot to write down the drivers name before I reinstalled win7 hoping win7 would find it on its own but I guess win7 its too n00b to find it.

My memory seems to be telling me it's a c-media card or matrox something but Ive been googling cards with those names and no one seems to match.

So if you guys can help me out it would be really appreciated!

Looks like a standard Sound Blaster card. Take a better focused picture straight on of the face, and the back. As for 7 not finding the drivers, that would be because a lot of legacy equipment was deleted from the driver database.

There are better sound cards out there that will do HD audio, than that old legacy card.

 

Agree with browniz you'll not find a win 7 driver if it's an old card I've dumped younger and better cards than that due to win 7 "I've got bags full of them", if your motherboard has built in audio it will do a better job anyway.

 

I already found the drivers on my own and they were supported for Win7


I thought you guys were supposed to be pro? :-D

 

How? Post the procedure you used maybe could help someone else.

Us guys are Free and often too busy to find drivers for legacy audio drivers, especially when the model of that hardware isn't posted.

 

I am sorry but my crystal ball is broke, and Harry & Ron no longer have jobs. So next time maybe if you want to tell people something, then keep the snarkiness to yourself, instead of making yourself look like the fool, not those trying to help you.
