Help if u know anything about Win 98!!

Hey im trying to fix my friends computer and i dont know what these are can anyone tell me?

In the msconfig under Config.sys

and then under Autoexec.bat theres

[ ] SET SNDSCAPE=C:\WINDOWS
[ ] SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T2

Can anyone tell me what to do? (right now there all checked)

 

If for any reason Setup does not finish and the computer needs to be
restarted, the following lines in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file prompt you to run
Setup again and choose the Smart Recovery option:
@if exist c:\wininst0.400\suwarn.bat call c:\wininst0.400\suwarn.bat
@if exist c:\wininst0.400\suwarn.bat del c:\wininst0.400\suwarn.bat

 

Just to add to what robo and endi said, except for the 2 ...suwarn.bat lines, all the stuff in config.sys and autoexec.bat (including the soundblaster stuff) are only needed for programs that run in MS-DOS mode, so, I agree, for troubleshooting purposes everything you listed can be unchecked.
