help in vb

    well im new to vb you can prolly tell by my question but i have a form 1 thats has a button that goes to form 2

    from form 2 i wana have a button that goes to my text file...

    what code would i put in

    i tried textfile.1.show

    but that didnt work..

    i have form2 with a button on it i want the text file to pop up when i press the button..i just dont know to do this..lol

    Try shell, shell "C:\Windows\Notepad.txt" Just change the location to point to wherever your file is located. Preferably have it within your program directory so you can just use: SHELL "\TextFile.txt"
