so i took my aging laptop apart and found the fault - a broken casing for the power adapter (keeps cutting out).
My plan is to solder a new wire onto the connectors (in the computer), run it out through the hole, then attach this wire to the standard laptop connector,
    - so i need a jack or something for the standard laptop power connector to plug into, so that i can solder onto the new power wires. Does anyone know anything that fits? can you post me a link?
    do you understand my problem/description???
    thanks in advance!!!
