PLease help. I have rebuilt the software on my HP pavilion following a boot drive corruption. I have reinstalled my logitech optical mouse and I believe made the mistake of plugging it in before installing the spftware. I have tried to remove the software, unplug the mouse and reinstall then plug in. The mouse works for about a second and then freezes. If I unplug from the usb then plug in again, it works for about a second then freezes again. There is a touch pad on the system that does work. I cannot find any software conflict in control panel.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can resolve this problem,

    Many thanks
