Help me on my Sound Device please

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly."

I got that error while trying to open a music file. It might be caused by a spyware. I already cleaned it using some available programs...still the sound wasn't restored.

I read from one posts here regarding the same situation: It says this....
Go into the device manager ( Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager and look for any yellow ! marks in sound devices, if their are any double click them and choose Driver, then you can try 2 things, either Update Driver which will try and search for an compatible driver ( sometimes works ok in finding one ) or choose if highlighted Roll Back ( only works if a driver has been updates and has a previous driver saved )

I followed the steps and I saw the yellow mark in >Other devices>Multimedia Audio Controller. I double clicked it then >Driver and found out that everything is "not available".....I cannot Update Driver...I cannot Rollback...

When i go to "General" it says this in the Device Status:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.

I really do no tknow what to do.

By the way i am using Duron 1GHz...ECSK7S5A. Sound card is built-in. I am not sure if that info will help...

Needs help...

 

what is the audio chipset? check the manufacturer's website for the drivers then DL and install them
