HELP ME PLEASE!!! CD DRIVE(s) ISSUE

    i have the following hardware:

    lite on cd-rw drive
    sony dru-530a internal dvd+-r dvd burner

    they both work fine if installed seperately but when i install both the cd-r and dvd drives (master and slave connectors; power cords) the (d) drive does not even show up when i click on "my computer." i need some assistance please. this also occured when i first got my cd burner (lite on) and i tried to install it with my regular cd rom drive. this is driving me insane...arrghhh! :rolleyes:

    Few options,

    1. Try the CD Burner on a different power cable, eg. not one thats linked to the same power cable as the other drive.

    2. Try one of the drives as a slave on the Hard Drive IDE cable to test if it shows up.

    3. What wattage is your PSU, possible you dont have enough power... if you can borrow or have another with higher wattage try that.

    4. What did you do to cure the problem last time, recreate those steps.
