help me please

My computer has stopped working when i get an email with click here on it . Used to work fine now just gives me a blank page any advice would be welcome Thanks Bob:confused

I'm not sure I know what you're talking about here. First; "my computer stopped working" is a very vague and ambiguous statement. Does it turn on? Does it boot to a version of Windows? Which version? Second; "...when I get an email with click here on it". Huh? This makes no sense to me at all. Maybe I'm slow, but what does this mean? Third; "Used to work fine now just gives me a blank page...". What used to work fine? What is giving you a blank page?

We'd all like to help, but with this type of cryptic description, it is impossible to offer any assistance.

 

Im using windows xp and when i get an email with click here which takes you to another site it does not work just comes up with a blank page searching but there is no address in the bar . At the same time my short cut icons also do the same just bring up a blank addressed page and keeps on searcing till you stop it . Hope this is clearer for you Thanks Bob

 

Im using xp and the problem is not only with email it also happens with my short cut icons as well you double click and it brings up new window with no address and i am on internet explorer Thanks Bob

And what do you mean by service pack thanks Bob

 

Go to Control Panel, System - the properties page should provide the operating system version and service pack #.
