If you can't move MGTools to the C: drive, download it to your desktop and run it from there. Also do the same with ComboFix.

 

ask.com is not a virus. It is not necessarily something we have recommended due to how it has always been installed when you installed other applications and quite often installed without end user knowledge. And we don't condone the use of toolbars, especially since there are way toooooo many unnecessary toolbars ( which you are guilty of having too). But that does not mean it is a virus.

And yours may have come with Norton Internet Security since they have teamed together. If you don't want it then uninstall Norton and Ask Toolbar or just try uninstalling Ask Toolbar to see if that is good enough.

Other software creators have also been bundling Ask Toolbar into their software, especially free software programs. This includes Comodo and others. Usually you can elect not to install it if you are paying attention during the installation process.
