help me please!!!!!!

Help me please!!!!! Please! My cdrom drive is not working. I have an
Acer Aspire 3620 and my cdrom drive is a philips cdrw/dvd SCB5265 and
the message im getting is windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. the driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) i cant find an
answer anywhere else. I might not reply for a day or 2 so if
you do answer, please do, please dont leave. im new and the
laptop is new and I love it and It is pretty frustrating. Also i
frequently get blue screens at startup, sometimes two in a
row. an answer to that would be useful.

Recommended resolution

Reasons for this error include a driver that is not present; a binary file that is corrupted; a file I/O problem, or a driver that references an entry point in another binary file that could not be loaded.

Uninstall the driver, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall or upgrade the driver.

On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
