help me pls

Hello,

I need help in something very easy but im having problems. I recently bought a cable with scat and connections for me to be able to watch movies from my computer and the picture and sound will come out in the television.

However when i went to desk top properties and tried to configure there is no way i can change the monitor settings? no display of cpu or lcd display to change? Can you help me please.

Do i need a special software or hardware to download?

Please give some more information.

I understand you wish to send the computer output to your television by way of a SCART connector?

What is on the other end of the leads?

Are you connecting to and S-Video mini din or a video RCA phono jack?

How are you connecting the sound and does it work?

You need to enable these outputs either with the graphics card special software, look for an icon in the bottom right corner. Or you may have to enable these outputs in BIOS, often called setup. You get there by repeatedly tapping F8 as the pc boots.
