   Ok I got this computer as I hand-me down and deleted some pictures off of it. A LOT of them because I was told it was o.k. to do so. Well turns out today that I find out the backup they did, didn't work as well as they thought. So I need to retrieve a lot of pictures. 100s of them. Any suggestions?

   A few options for you but sadly as you are and will be using the HD new data may overwrite the old deleted data/images rendering them non-recoverable.
