Help Me Tame Win 10's Right Click Context Menu

I like my context menu compact (single line spacing), with just the choices I actually use. I think it started with Win 7 where Microsoft expanded the menu into double spacing. I used to be able to shrink it all back to single space via Regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\FlightedFeatures - then added a D-Word "ImmersiveContextMenu" with a value of 0.

But Win 10 will sometimes show single spacing and other times double spacing! My two questions: Does anyone know how to:

1. Force Win 10 to always show context menu in single line spacing (compact)?
2. Remove these choices from the menu: Open, Copy, Cut, Delete, Rename? (ShellMenuNew and ShellMenuView don't work.)

 

Is this a touchscreen laptop? Hit Start and type tablet, then turn off "Make Windows more touch-friendly when using your device as a tablet"

 

Hi foogoo - yes, it's a touch screen laptop... my current systems settings:

1. When I sign in... Never Use Tablet Mode selected.
2. When I use this device as a tablet... Don't Switch to Tablet Mode selected.

Under "Change additional tablet settings": everything's off.

 

I came across an app called Shell yesterday here on MG. So it's for customizing the context menu. However, it requires scripting which I am totally unfamiliar with. Again, I am trying to remove these five items: Open, Copy, Cut, Delete, Rename

If someone familiar with scripting can show me how to remove one of them, I may be able to figure out the other four?
