d00d... You need to go into a computer store with your wallet open. Don't worry, they'll see you coming. Tell them you need to play games, not just any games, but "Big games, with cool graphics, and battles and stuff." I'm sure they'll be willing to help you out. Or, go the other route, learn a bit about how computers work from reading these boards and/or asking friends, then you'll have a better idea of what you need.

Honestly though, you need at least:
    1ghz cpu
    1ghz ramm PC133
    133 bus speed
    128mb graphics card, AGP x4
    20gb hard drive
    Any cdrom/floppy
300watt power supply and a case to put it in

This would imho be the very minimum you need just to play the game. From there, the more you spend, the better it gets.

Not sure where you live or what budget you have, but here is a link to a site I have bought a lot of stuff from - they are based in Texas.

Here is the link to their "Used/Refurbished" computers. Bear in mind I have never purchased one of them and know nothing about them - nor am I sure how upgradable they are. The ad states some come with Win98 OR Win95 . . . I don't think you can choose but I didn't check all of them. But they seem like a good deal for the cash . . . even with the shipping.

Hope this gives you some ideas - perhaps you can search for used computers in your area if this angle is suitable.

    Good luck

I also meant to say (but too late to edit my post): If I understand your post right, it seems you perhaps want to purchase one on payments? The "biggies" like Dell, Gateway, HP have some fairly low cost PC's that would more then fit your requirements . . . problem with buying a PC on payments is you usually end up paying way more then the thing is worth - but sometimes that is the easiest way to get what you need if cash is tight. Lord knows I have been there!

    Just a thought.

I believe the $30.oo to start and $25.oo/month is the cost he's thinking it is to play World of Warcraft, since it's a MMORPG and that he's refering to the characters you play in the game.

You could make that system better by adding 512 mb at least.

Dude, you need to relax a bit, and explain what you are meaning exactly, I cannot gather whether you want to rent/try/buy a system for $25/$30 per month, or your meaning the game, for that price, and want to buy a system outright but need help.

However if you are meaning a Computer, I really suggest you ask around, these guys here are likely the best you can find on the internet for dead set advice, directions and recommendations!

Check out Dell, Acer, etc.. Or go one up and go into a local Computer store and purchase one, also remembering to get the extended warranty, preferably onsite, this will save you hassle in the long run, becuase if its local, then it's quicker to get maintenance and repair work done. Well in my experience anyway.

Please if you could, re-explain what you are meaning specifically and clearly, so we can clarify, I`m asking in no disrespect.
