I have multipule problems with My HP desktop. Some of these problems are recent others I have been battling for some time. The most recent problems I have been trying to fix for several days straight, without success. The follow is a list of things I am dealing with starting with the oldest to the most recent.

    1. An empty window titled FORM1 comes up at start up. I x off of it and never see it again until I start up again.

    2. Every 15 minutes I get a pop up that says "Click YES to complete your download". It goes away whether I click OK or if I X off it, but always comes back 15 min. later. I have read other threads with people who have this problem. I have gone through the same steps they have, but without success.

    3. I recently ran Registry Mechanic and also did a live update for Norton Internet security 2005. After I did these things i started having alot of problems. First, I couldn't recieve e-mail in my Outlook 2003. All other internet cumunications were working properly. Then my computer began to hang when shuting down. It takes about 10 min after trying to shutdown or restart for the computer to perform the action. Next, none of my office programs would open up, they would freeze while trying. I used the installation disk to detect and repair. It showed that some files were copied but it then froze up to. I restarted and my office programs did open, but I still couldn't recieve e-mail. Next I turned off the firewall in Norton and found I was able to recieve my e-mail. I reset Outlook in Norton so that It would relearn the security setting for Outlook. This failed however because when the firewall is on it still will not recieve e-mail or even bring up the dialouge box from Norton to relearn the security settings.
Today it seems as though my Office programs are again not opening.

Can anyone help with these issues?

Thanks for the response. I consistanly run Ad-aware, Spybot, and Ewido security. I also have Norton perform a full system scan at least once a week. I actually used the post you recomened about a year and a half ago and did rid my system of Spyware that had almost over taken it. Since then I have been maintaining a relatively clean system using these utilities I mentioned. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
