help:my computer is a target of consistent attacks

Hi

for months and almost throughout my entire connection session , my computer has been a target for ip/tcp/udp, fragmentation, connection etc attacks. my firewall blocks them. However, i want to know why i'm a target, and how to stop them. Can anyone help me?

All IP addresses are targeted, mine included (3x in the last 30 minutes, from Argentina, Russia and Vietnam). A good hardware router/firewall should be the first line of defense, when setup correctly, it will block all non -requested connections.

I believe my firewall is doing good job blocking these attacks. But the number of attacks is overwhelming. Makes me think if my computer has vulnerabilities that my firewall can't detect. I did a pot scan from a website and the result was negative for opened ports. Maybe i'm being paranoid but there used to be attacks from ips belong to my isp. I let my isp know about it. They were reluctant to help or explain. Suddenly after making several complaints, i no longer see attacks from those ips.

Could there be anything wrong about my computer that attract so many attackers? btw, the source ips are always the same (first and second parts of the ip).
