help my computer is very slow

hi there my computer is getting slower and slower so i am wanting to sort it out. i thought maybe malware/adware might be the problem but i do already have the microsoft antispyware installed as well as spy sweeper both f which are updated. i have nortons as a virus software. i downloaded hijack this and have run it. i am familiar with most of the programs in the first half but there are some other entries in the middle i am less sure about. if anyone can give me advice i would appreciate it, however if i am asking this in the wrong place please forgive me and point me in the right direction. especially as to where to begin to get this compuer back to efficient running.

Try this. This will disable all programs that aren't essential to run your system.

1. Click run in start menu
2. Type Msconfig
3. Choose startup tab
4. Click disable all
5. Agree to reboot

This should improve speed a bit.

I can see you are running alot of crap from your logfile you posted. Thats the reason your pc is running slow.

A great program to see what processes are running on your PC, how much CPU cycles they are using, how much RAM they are using, what program they relate to, what Company writes that program and allows for Comments to be loaded.

You can also manage (kill) processes, and sort any field to different sequences, as well. Bazza
