HELP: My PC screen is overscanned is it a virus?

Don't know what I just got on my PC.
Been trying to help a friend clean out the Horrible Abetterinternet off his laptop, and now I have something even worse on my desktop.
It's so bad that I can't even see websites full screen.
When I boot up the screen is momentarily normal where I can see all my icons then it blows up like over scanned or something and I can't see what I initially could, and furthermore it looks like one of those fake screens that are up to no good. Not like the real thing.
For example when I go to aol and try to read my email it's almost impossible to do so since the window is blown up so big.
I tried to run trendmicro's housecall but can't scroll to the part where you click to activate it.

One last thing, whatever is in there won't let me run Ewido.

System Specs, Please!
Also, can you scan for virus and malware? If so, run Ad Aware, Spybot, and your Anti virus. Clean out the cookies with CCleaner. Once all that is done, check back in.

Are you sure you have not turned on the disabled accessories in the windows installed components(magnified view of the screen??)

 

I'm not sure, where do I find that adjustment?
Why would that stop Ewido from runnning?

 

Sounds like you've got a display driver problem there to me. You might be able to fix it by re-installing the graphics driver. I'm not sure what you mean by 'overscanned' though.

And please, specs! We really need them otherwise we can't give you anything better than general advice.
