Help - need help removing 'super-spider' redirect!!

    Hi,

    In need of some skilled help - the site was recommended to me by an IT programmer.

    I have stone in my shoe and I've been told you guys enjoy removing these things!! :)

    I keep getting redirected to the following blank web page.

    http://super-spider.com/hp.htm?id=80

    I've followed the spyware tutorials - loaded hijackthis, spybot etc but all to no avail.

    Can someone please help and tell me what I'm doing wrong? Please be gentle - it's my first time and I have a smalll brain!!!

    No! Not yet please do all the items indicated here first: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407

    And also run both Ad-aware and SpyBot S&D after booting in safe mode.
    Also run an additional Ad-aware scan configured for fullscan: http://www.lavahelp.net/howto/fullscan/index.html

    After that, you should checkout some the things I have been doing in this thread http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=38783 with power88. It is the same problem you are having.

    At this point, if you still have a problem or are too confused to know what to do, post your HijackThis log as an attachment. Make sure you have the new HijackThis
