Help needed,"DSO Exploit"?...

Hey everyone,ive got some problem that ive tried to correct but it has not gone away.As i am not familiar with alot of terms on this site relating to different problems,so hopefully this make sense.

first of all these are the programs i am running

Spybot S&D
Ad-Aware SE Personal
Spysweeper
Norton Antivirus 2003


I think i have a Hijacked homepage when i try to set default it keeps changing back to the hijack page:

http:/coopto.directwebsearch.net/index.html

I cannot seem to get rid of it.

I have also disabled system restore when running these programs.Everything seems to get cleared except 5 DSO Exploits that only get detected by Spybot S&D.All i know is that they have something to do with a registry change?

Everytime i Run Spybot S&D these exploits come up.

And finally i am running Microsoft Internet Explorer,currently when i type a search word in the toolbar i get the "this page cannot be displayed" message etc.I can only search by typing a full web address.

Any help is much appreciated.

I am considering using hijack this.But when i read tutorial i got a little confused.Also what is a "Log File"?

Please excuse my small amount of knowledge on this one.
