Help needed running proxy program

I cant seem to run a proxy in google chrome when i try and run my ip hider program the internet just gets error?

 

so no one runs a proxy on google chrome.

 

You need to give people more then a few hours to respond, i dont run a proxy in chrome at all, so no idea, but as this is a free site and people help in there spare time, you may not get an immediate answer. If you need one immediately, id call a local computer store for advice/help.

 

I haven't really used proxy settings in Chrome but I did find this article:

But it looks like chrome has made some changes since it was written so here is how you get to your proxy settings via chrome as of version 19.0.1084.52.

Tools (wrench icon) > Settings
At the bottom of the settings page click the link "Show advanced setings..."
Under the network section click the button "Change proxy settings" this opens the Internet Options dialog used by IE.

 

did that it still does not work.

 

What errors are you getting?

some sites refuse/block access from known proxies, does other web traffic work at this point?

 

a friend gave me a proxy to run so im good now ,thanks for the help but still cant figure why i cant run platium hide ip program.
