Help needed, spyware, trojan horse.

    OK, i have had this problem for quite some time now and I have been unable to fix it. My problem is this. When I start up microsoft internet explorer my homepage is http://default-homepage-network.com/newspynotice.html , then i get messages from my anti-virus program saying i have a virus, it calls it "could be infected startpage." Then i get more, saying i have several other trojan horses. I do a virus scan on AVG to remove them, and i get these results.

    You appear to have a problem with doing a cut & paste.

    What OS are you using? If XP or Me, disable system restore, boot in safe mode, and then do a full virus scan?

    And what do you expect your home page to be.

    Im using XP, and i tried the restart thing except it wont let me open AVG when im in safe mode. And i do not know why i cant paste. And i had my homepage set to google.com

    Okay, first you need to be able to cut&paste or we will be having a real problem communicating.

    Now reset your web settings, if you do not know how to do that go here:
    http://www.pestpatrol.com/Support/HowTo/How_To_Clear_a_Hijack.asp
    and under the Search Hijacks section see the info on "Reset Web Settings".

    Next download these two simple virus scanner and try using them with system restore disabled and when you are in safe mode:
