Help NTLDR is missing

Hi
Can anyone help me my home computer has gone down it started when i was disabling my modem so as to use my other ethernet connection on my dbox2,but when i tried to enable my modem i got a blue screen telling me uninstal any recent hardware this i did in safe mode
Now all i get when i boot up is dos screen saving NTLDR is missing PRESS CTRL-ALT-DEL to restart your computer, so every time i reboot it says the same thing

can anyone throw any light on this for me
