Help Outlook 2003...

    Outlook 2003 in conjunction with a fully functional Mcafee Security Center integration, will pause for way too long between message selection but not make the program stop working I am not sure Mcafee is the problem.

    Can somebody help me please ?

    Most likely what may be happening is a scan of each message is being done for (phish attempts, html coding, etc). I use AVG with Outlook2k3, and only thing that happens with mine is that if the message has a large attachment, it can end up taking a sec to open due to the scan.
