Help please...BIG Kazaa problem

Hello all...Im a bit worried because of this problem, i just got my comp new, its few days old...I have norton Antivirus and Firewall 2003 both live updated today...Before i was on Kazaa Lite, i was trying to download GTA:VC...Its a 245mg file, it was on 35 megs...next thing my kazaa started to lag really bad, it was lagging for 3 minutes straight, then it closed up on me...I checked my drives gigabytes, it said 13.0 gig left...Before this kazaa incident it was 15.4-14.9 gig left...Right now its on 12.2 gig, im running Windows Xp Professional, i performed a system scan with norton and it found nothing, i restarted my comp so its not a bug/glitch, i need peoples help on how to remove this virus, please this comp aint even a few days old, could someone please help me, thanks alot

just finished reading that, someone gave me steps how to remove it, tick Turn off system restore, update my norton, run safemode F8, scan computer, after done, restart computer, but will my computer go bck 2 normal mode again...will Norton find it for sure?

 

yes your computer will go back to normal mode at restart. .just don't hit the F8 key

some are better than others at catching things
