help please, i cant fix this problem!!!!!!!

i got a printer/scanner ...its an epson stylus cx 3200.....i just recently had to reinstall windows......so i also had to reinstall my printer so when i hooked up my printer it showed a screen to install the printer ...then it asked me to put in the installation CD but i couldnt find it so i chosed the other option , it was to connect to windows update to search for software.....but it said cannot install software ....it said the wizard cannot find the necessary software and it told me again to put in the installation cd.........so is there a way to install my printer without the installation cd?

As Thefool pointed you to the .exe, which is the Windows version. I would suggest that you may want to pick up "Windows XP for Dummies", which is a great resource to have in being able to have on hand when you need to look up something, also use the "Help & Support" tool that is built in Windows XP for looking up quick questions.

This above statement is not a put down, but most of your questions can be answered with the Help & Support tool if you need it, and definitely asking questios here was a start.
