Hello, im thinking about buying my friends pc it is a H.P Pavillion 703, 2.2 GHz, 256MB 40GB hard drive, intergraded intel extreme graphics, intel celeron & XP she is asking about £300. Please can u reply and let me know if its worth my money thanks.

 

Sorry it also includes a printer and colour scanner

 

No. For £320 at my local computer store you can get:
Amd athlon 3800+
1024mb ram 533mhz
250gb hard drive
Geforce 6100
and an Asrock AM2NF6G motherboard.

Yes i am unsure if your friend is doing this to rip you off but it is rather expensive.

Realistically i would barter down to £200 and even then he/ she will be making a good sell.

Otherwise buy new for £300 Ellis902 seems to have a good idea ask him about the place he bought his computer from!!

If you live on yorkshire ww.cclonline.com and www.scan.co.uk Are both very cheap and trust worthy.

Remember Celeron D chips are cheap and low end; 2.2 Ghz Celeron D is not the same as 2.2Ghz trusty pentium 4 or Amd Athlon 64.

the ones i sent you deliver. But from what i can see the dacomputer doesnt deliver. But i m not certain on that.

dacomputers do deliver , but for an extra cost. You could just pick it up yourself if you drive and spend the delivery money on an upgrade for your comp.

Yes I think that's what he wants. The just loads with the 3200+ chip and 512mb ram , but just upgrade it and look at the price. Quite cheap in my eyes.

 

i am getting a new pc i may price what i want and post it.

 

ok i have priced everything up iand i will e saving a not so big £3. it will gost more than that in peterol or postage.
