Run my new anti virus which picked up a problem on somthing called OLEPR032.DLL and gave me the option to delete it which I did (God do I regret doing that). How I keep have a pop up saying that this is missing when i try to insalling things and various run time errors.

Is there any one in cyber land who can help!!

Ans if you could keep it simple it would be appricated as I am not that computer literate.

    Thanks

Hi MarkR, welcome to majorgeeks :)

You want to use a system restore point..

Go to control panel and clci on performance and maintenance, then click on system, click on the system restore tab and select a restore date before the problem happened.

Then i would replace your AV (im gonna guess it's AVG) with a good one :p

    Like Avira: http://majorgeeks.com/Avira_AntiVir_Personal_-_Free_Antivirus_d955.html

Holy smoke, Kaspersky's [my AV] high standards slipping there :( Well you dont want to replace your AV then. :p and a fellow "barebacker" with no restore points? my kind of guy :)

Anyhoo, You can fix this error with a scannow, but you need the install disc. do you have it?

Assuming you do, put the disc in the drive and go to run, and type
    and hit enter.

Yes, but the Xp disc that I have is with service pack 2 and every time that I put the disk in the drive I get a message saying somthing like not compatable higher service pack installed. Now I am getting run time error 0 (I wiish i stayed with bit defender)

When are you getting this error?

Yeah, installing over a higher Service Pack is a no-no, you need to slipstream SP3 onto your install CD.

    Go get cleaned up first.

You're going to have to try installing them from Safe Mode or start killing processes, including Explorer and use Taskman to navigate to the installers.

You will want to reinstall any prog's affected BUT follow satrows advice and go have clean up first or we might just make things more complicated.
