    hi guys n gurls.

im new here so not sure if im posting in right place or not, just incase im not im sorry . :)
ok first my mcafee ran out so i went n got kaspersky internet security, it works fine, but now when i restart my pc i get the blue screen, it does a memory dump thing and restarts.. sometimes it does that again and again and again orther times will only do it once.
im running windows XP pro fully legal copy.

here is the message im getting
    stop: 0x00000050 (0xfffffff0,0x00000000,0x80526461,0x00000000)
then it says its doing a physical memorty dump.

from what i have read and understand, its a registry problem, so i clicked on a link that sent me to a windows site to download a program called ErrorEnd, i did that and ran the scan, lol says i have 821 problems . then it asked me for money to repair it .

i then ran a reg scan using uniblue registrybooster, it said i had 101 problems which it fixed for me , i then reran errorend and it still said i had 821 problems.
i am at mo updating malwarebytes, and ccleaner then doing a scan with both.

is there anyone that can help me solve this problem or give me any advice as to what to do next ... thank you all for ya time n help :)

McAfee might have left some remnants behind causing problems.
Did you only remove McAfee by using the Add/Remove in Control Panel? If so, I might suggest that you run appremover
    http://www.appremover.com/
to uninstall any items left from McAfee. I've never used it but it was recommended to me by a good friend who is a MSMVP for Security so if she says it is good, I listen.

I'm not sure if it will find McAfee since you've already removed but it won't hurt to try.

    Hi

First off I would also for the moment uninstall KAV as well until all the McAfee parrts have been removed, and the app remover that plodr mentions is good, but the McAfee instructions and removal app are HERE also.

I would then use CCLeaner and its cleaner to remove any old temp files etc and its registry cleaner (the Uniblue one goes a bit too in depth for me and could ake matters worse), then reboot and check your PC works ok and can shutdown and restart as well as a reboot ok, if it can then re-install KAV again.

also do let us know what other security applications you have installed on your PC, please do name all as its very possible one of them could conflict with KAV and be causing this problem.

Find the minidump at C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini051411-01.dmp, copy it to the Destktop then zip it (right-click the *.dmp and select Send to > Compressed folder. The zipped file can then be attached here.
