help please

hi all hope you can help i seem to have picked up a dialer trojan tho i think i have removed it is it possible that i left something in my registry and if so how do i remove that. i am not on dialup i use a cable modem if that matters

hi xflat thank you for the reply im really not sure what dialer it was or is i think it just came up trojan dialer i removed it with avg. got it in the vault then uninstalled avg to remove it completly and reinstalled avg that is where i stand now. thank you again for any help.
also after reinstalling avg and running it it came up clean i also ran trend micro house calls it also came up clean i just don't trust that its all out of my machine.

Make sure the virus is gone. Run the antivirus again and see wait to see what happens if you want a second opinion just run this

some good advice given already
but to be honest if your anti-virus removed it and everything came up clean then yes its probably gone
but if you are that paranoid the only way to be 100% sure would be to reformat and reinstall your OS
